More about how Hiyr works for site managers

If you want site manager jobs in the UK, Hiyr is a marketplace where clients hire you directly. Create a free profile, complete the construction check, and get paid through Hiyr when the client confirms the work. Hiyr does not employ you and it does not put you in charge of a site of its own.

You join as yourself. A client posts the site work and chooses who to hire. Hiyr does not allocate you from a book. Your rate is the rate you put on your profile. Hiyr does not publish a price list for this trade.

General labouring is a different trade. It is listed on the labourer page, not this one.

  • Free profile: say where in the UK you will work
  • Get verified: photo ID, right to work, a CSCS card and a trade certificate
  • Get hired: a client chooses you and agrees the dates
  • Get paid through Hiyr when the client confirms the work

The construction check

A construction profile is asked for photo ID, proof of right to work, a CSCS card and a trade certificate.

  • Photo ID

Government-issued photo ID matching your profile name.

  • Right to work

Passport, BRP, or share code proving UK work eligibility.

  • CSCS card

Valid CSCS card for your trade (front and back).

  • Trade certification

NVQ, apprenticeship, Gas Safe, NICEIC, or equivalent.

More about the construction check

A construction profile is asked for photo ID, proof of right to work, a CSCS card and a trade certificate. A member of staff reviews those documents before the profile can be hired. Match the card and the certificate to the site work you want.

Clients hiring construction trades use the construction hire page. This worker page does not have a matching hire URL for site managers.

Questions

Is Hiyr a construction agency?

No. Hiyr is a marketplace. Clients hire you directly. Hiyr does not employ you and it does not supply labour the way an agency does.

What documents do I need?

Photo ID, proof of right to work, a CSCS card and a trade certificate. Match the card and the certificate to the site work you want.

Do I pay to create a profile?

No. Creating a profile and getting verified is free. You are paid through Hiyr when a client confirms the work. Hiyr does not publish a price list for this trade.

Will this page list every site manager job?

No. It lists a job only when that job is a real published UK post for this trade. If none are open, create a profile and wait for a client to post.
