Hire ID-checked carpenters for first fix, second fix and site joinery. The first city page is London, aimed at fit-out and refurbishment rather than a national directory of every chippy. Posting is free. You pay the carpenter’s rate and Hiyr’s fee when the hire is completed at checkout.

Say first fix or second fix. Doors, studwork, kitchen carcasses and bespoke site items price differently. Materials, merchant collections and occupied buildings belong in the brief. A carpenter is not a general labourer; if you also need someone to run boards up the stairs, post a labourer hire as well.

Construction providers are asked for photo ID, proof of right to work, a CSCS card and a trade certificate. A member of staff reviews those documents before the profile can be hired. Match the card colour on the profile to the colour your site entrance requires.

Posting a job is free. Searching providers is free. Hiyr charges a platform fee only when you pay for a hire at checkout, and the fee is shown before you confirm. You hire on the platform. Contact details are not packaged and sold as a lead.

Hiyr is a marketplace for verified hiring, not an employer and not a labour agency. The provider sets the rate. Tax, CIS and employment status stay between the client and the provider.
