How to hire day labourers

Day labour is clearance, handling, mixing and assistance. If the outcome is a hung door, a tested circuit or a finished plaster wall, hire the carpenter, electrician or plasterer. Write one job per role. A site that needs both a labourer and a chippy is two hires, each with its own dates and rate.

Add the date, the start time, the finish assumption, and whether it might run to further days. Name the CSCS colour. Name the tasks in plain language. Say what PPE you provide. Say who the labourer reports to and who signs the hours. Mention stairs-only access, a live building, or a night shift. Those details change the rate more than an adjective like “hardworking” does.
